LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION

Cycling is a lot of work, but the beautiful scenery and nice people make it worthwhile.

My tentmate Chuck and me. Chuck was 14 yrs my senior but he got into camp 1-2 hrs before I did each day.

Two fellow recumbent riders and me at a Pit Stop on
Day 7.

Me and my bike on US 1 just north of Santa Cruz.

A beautiful spot as we wait for lunch on Day 2 north of King City.

A real wedding took place during dinner on Day 5 between two riders.

The family to the immediate right followed us around in their van for several days cheering us on.

On the far right is a saddle sore rider reaching for the butt balm from a guardian angel.

Some cyclists breaking camp at 6 AM in our tent city.

Riding through beautiful
Santa Barbara on Day 6.

Day 7
closing ceremonies in West Hollywood brought sadness to most of us.

The sea of luggage to be picked up after the ride was over.
