WHAT ARE WE DOING HERE?

Did you ever wake up and feel like you were not ready for the day?
On Day 1 my body was not quite sure if this ride was a good idea or not.

Late registration at 4:30 AM, Sunday, June 8. The last stragglers sign in.

5:30 AM Stretch this way, stretch that way. Oops, I just pulled a muscle. Guess I'll just ride in the sag wagon.

6:15 AM Get your bike from the underground parking lot and off we go!

Riders grunting up Trousdale Road, a 12% grade. I told them not to smile, but the guy on the far right would not listen.
