Day 2 (June 4)
Santa Cruz - King City
Day 2: Near Moss Landing, cyclists riding through fields and fields of strawberries and artichokes.
Rest Stop 2 was Sesame Street with Big Bird, Miss Piggy, Bert and Ernie, and Kermit the Frog.
Celebrities were riding too. Here Elmo is getting much needed medical attention for dehydration, a common ailment on this ride.
Superman takes his job seriously.
For a while we had super heros protecting us.
Some riders went all-out decorating their helmets. This guy used some "potty" humor.
Parents of the public school in Bradley hosted a fundraiser to raise money for their school by selling hamburgers and soda to the hungry cyclists.
