Early Rise (May 31)
My supplies for the trip. Huge duffle bag, warm riding clothes, bike helmet, shoes, panniers, sun screen, bandana, and water bottles. This is my hotel room at the Cathedral Hill Hotel which is getting demolished in 2010!
4:00 A.M. bus pickup at the hotel. Early to bed, early to rise ... makes this cyclist crazy inside.
The huddled masses of cyclists ... Hey ... what's this lightbulb in the morning?
She is ready but the bike is not.
Some assembly required.
