AIDS Ride 7 |
(1) My tent mate, Roberto, who was assigned to me. He was great on the trip. Roberto was one of the fastest riders, often riding along side cycling legend Gary Fisher on the ride. You will often see Gary's names on bicycles, but for this ride Gary was riding a Greg Lemond bike. Roberto always had our tent set up before I got to camp. Great tent mate! |

(2) Pit 2 crew, Moss Landing, Day 2. They were spoofing "My Favorite Things" from the "Sound of Music" (nun, tea bags). |
(3) Baggage handlers from gear truck "O". Their theme for Day 4 was Hawaiian. Their decorations included a palm tree and Hawaiian Barbie. |
(4) Montessori School, San Luis Obisbo, Day 4. Elementary school children took the day off to greet riders as we passed through town. Note the TV cameraman on the left covering the story. |
(5) A good shot of me on Day 1, before the rain and wind. Little did I know ... |
